 March 2nd – Primary Pro Life I believe in the sanctity of life. We need to bring back the protection of life, from the womb to the tomb. We must first openly oppose abortion, end of life counseling for the elderly, and embryonic stem cell research. Smaller Government To bring about smaller government we need The Fair Tax and a rebate for lower income families. We have had enough of government thinking and spending like OUR MONEY is their money. Supports Small Business I support new legislation that promotes and encourages small business prosperity because small businesses are the backbone of our capitalist system, employing 75% to 80% of Americans.  Eliminate Property and Franchise Tax I am opposed to increasing the tax burden on businesses and citizens of Texas. Enough is enough! Increase Usage of Domestic Energy Resources More than four decades of US dependence on foreign oil is a travesty, therefore, I will support an energy plan that calls for immediately increasing usage of all domestic resources including nuclear energy, natural gas and coal as necessary. Texas Sovereignty I believe in the sovereignty and security of our State and therefore will support measures to close our borders except for designated immigration points so we will know who is entering and why. 2nd Amendment - Right to Bear Arms I believe that a strong America ensures a free America. I support our II Amendment which gives us the right to regulate militia and bear arms. Rule of Law I believe all Americans have the right to be safe in their homes, on their streets, and in their communities. I support the rule of law in every way. Supports our Troops I honor all those who have served our nation to protect our liberty, especially our men and women in uniform, who unselfishly and courageously defend our country. Balance the Budget I believe in a balanced budget and I will vote for a freeze in government spending until that goal is realized.
