BIOGRAPHY:

Sharon is a southern woman born and raised in a town just outside of Birmingham Alabama. She was the third of four children, all of whom were raised in a loving home; that instilled in her a great love of our country for the liberty and freedoms it brings. Her mom, like most southern moms, instilled in Sharon a desire to always do the right thing. Sharon knows that doing the right thing is more than just having an awareness, but it is actually exemplifying the right thing through your actions and choices.

Sharon is the proud mother of four children and four grandchildren, with one more on the way! Along with managing her family, she also found time to run her own small business for several years. Being a former small business owner has allowed Sharon to understand the hardship that most small business owners are feeling right now. It was during her time as a small business owner that Sharon began to understand the importance of conservative principled government, and how business can only thrive when these principles are used to govern.

Sharon moved to Texas close to ten years ago and was enjoying the role of raising her children and instilling the same values her mother had done so well to instill in her. However, over the years Sharon began to grow more and more outraged at the attempts of an ever growing government to undermine American families and set this Nation on a path to self destruction. Frustrated that Washington seemed to not care or listen any longer, Sharon decided that it was time for things to change in America. Southern moms know best that actions, not words, create change. So Sharon jumped into the local political arena with all of her heart and soul. Sharon understands why many Americans have become angry. It is because their words have fallen on deaf ears in Washington. Many Americans do not have the time nor the resources to make their voices heard. Sharon knew she had to take action for the many that could not.

In just a short time Sharon quickly rose to the top. She was elected Precinct chair by her peers where she worked to reignite her fellow citizens to fight for their country. She then went on to become Dallas County Administrative Coordinator for the Dallas County GOP where she helped tirelessly on both national and local campaigns during the 2008 elections. Locally she was appointed as the Chairman of Rowlett's Economic and Development Ad Hoc Committee.

She served as both Senatorial and State Delegate to the Republican convention. Sharon understands how valuable grassroots are to the Republican Party not just on a national level, but on a local level as well. That is why she founded the Rowlett Republicans, in a hope to pass on the knowledge and resources needed to set this Country back on the right path with her fellow patriots.

Sharon is running for Senate to give a voice to all of the people over the years that told her that something needs to be done. She is dedicating her campaign to the hopes of people like her, local moms, who understand families, understand business, and understand that conservatism is the only way to prosper!
